10th ‘Industrial Automation and Standardization Forum’

The 10th ‘Industrial Automation and Standardization Forum’ was held successfully in Beijing on 24 to 25 May, 2011.
The theme of the forum was Measurement & Control Technology and Application in Advanced Intelligent Equipment. The forum was divided into four parts with four different topics: ‘Device and Integration in Enterprise Systems’, 'Industrial Control Networks’, 'Measurement and Control Devices’ and ‘Energy Efficiency in Industrial Automation’.
As a key part of new industry specified in the council decision, advanced intelligent equipment has become an important symbol of the industrialization level. As a result, the forum was followed closely by all related stakeholders. Mr. Rolan Heidel (Chairman of ICE/TC65, TC on Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation), Mr. Bernard Dumortier (Secretary of IEC/TC65), Mr. Christian Verney (Chairman of IEC/SC65E, SC on Device and Intergration in Enterprise Systems), Mr. David Vasko (Secretary of IEC/TC65/SC65B), related officials from management department and organizations, experts from key manufacturers including ABB, Phoenix, Schneider, Seimens, etc, and research institutes gave speeches or demonstrated their advanced products and solutions.
