CCC Updating Summary Since 2018

On 8 July 2014, the Chinese government issued "Several Opinions of the State Council on Promoting Fair Competition in the Market to Maintain Normal Market Order." In 2017, the State Council issued the 13th Five-Year Plan and set up the goal of establishing a modern Chinese market system by 2020.

By end of 2018, the government has issued announcements on the CCC reforms and some our member companies have inquired about the changes in the scope of CCC products.  EuropElectro wishes to draw our members' attentions to the key points in management after the CCC reforms.

          * As a milestone shift on June 11, 2018, the certification model has been simplified and CCC allows companies to comply using self-declarations, toward mode A of the EC Low Voltage Directive (CE mark).

          * Please note that post-market surveillance has been tightened, especially with the new policy of ‘double-random and one opening'.

          * The CCC product range is dramatically updated by end of 2018.

Determination of Product Range of CCC

The determination on the product range of CCC is based on the CNCA Product Implementation Rules + [CNCA Notice No.45 2014] Annex: Compulsory Product Certification (CCC) Categories Description and Range Table + New SAMR/CNCA announcements before revisions.

Since these two files are not updated in real time, please pay attention to new announcements from CNCA before the revision.

EuropElectro has included those in place by the end of 2018, since the release in 2017 of three CCC reform announcement documents covering the product range for your reference.

In 2019, we will inform you of new important changes and updating on this web page.
