Visit to Standardization of the E-mobility Related Chinese Government and Authorities

EuropElectro participats in a delegation to visit Chinese related government and authorities on the standardization of the electrical vehicle charging interface

On 23 - 27 January 2011 EuropElectro participated in a delegation to visit Chinese related government and authorities on the standardization of the electrical vehicle charging interface. This delegation included the Chairman of the Board of Directors of DKE, the President of the IEC German National Committee, the Head of the E-mobility Office of DIN, the Head of the Coordination Office Charging Interface, German Automotive Industry, ZVEI, EuropElectro and two EuropElectro member companies – Phoenix-Contact and Harting.

SAC, MoST, MIIT, CEC and CATARC warmly received this delegation and communicated some technical points of view on the standardization of electrical vehicle charging interfaces. All sides expressed their appreciation in being able to have these discussions with each other and their willingness to keep in further communication. CEC would like to support the IEC standardization.
