China Compulsory Certification (CCC) Seminar held in Frankfurt

On September 15 2014, the EuropElectro seminar “China Compulsory Certification (CCC) – Technical Market Access in China” was held in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. This seminar was attended by more than 40 representatives from member companies and other companies interested in the work of EuropElectro.
Mr Huhle, Head of Technical Legislation and Standardisation department in ZVEI presented the task and objectives of the ZVEI-working party EuropElectro to inform the participants how EuropElectro can support the participants’ business in China.
This introduction about the work of EuropElectro was followed by a presentation of Mrs Wang Xu, Head of EuropElectro about recent developments of the CCC-reform in China. Mrs Wang informed the participants about the scope of the CCC-reform which started already in 2013 and is still not completed yet. She provided the participants with details about changes in the general CCC-implementation rules as well as changes in the specific implementation rules for electro products. Mrs Wang also elaborated on the revised process of CCC-certification and gave examples about how manufacturers can apply for CCC-certification according to the new requirements.
